Match the sport venue 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Abebe-Athlete profile.
Today we did another Athlete profile this time about Abebe Bilkia he was the only man ever to run a entire marathon in barefoot and surprisingly he won the marathon and he became one of the most known marathon runners in the world.
Sadly he died a couple years ago because he was born in about 1936 or something but whatever. This profile was very challenging and it was just very hard to find facts about Abebe i have no idea why but it was.
He was a 2 time champion! for the marathon and nobody knew how he had done it but people later found out that it was all skill. Hope you guys enjoyed bye for now :)
Violet Warlond-Athlete profile.
Today in reading we started a athlete profile about Violet Warlond. Violet was the first ever girl to go to the Olympics and compete in the swimming competition at the age of 15 new Zealand had 4 people go to the Olympics in 1920 3 boys and Violet.
Anyways about my work its called a athlete profile because the drawing tells you about that athlete. It includes the events that they do about them and their early life 1 interesting fact and a medal that you can customise any way you want. A group called Claire freedman did this before us but it doesn't matter.
Violet was one of the best swimmers in the event for the Olympics she won multiple medals but she wasn't the best of the best. Anyways this is my work i hope you enjoy it bye now.
Sam Dickson Athlete profile.
Today in writing we did a Athlete profile . if you don't know what a Athlete profile is its basically a square with a image of the Athlete you are making it about and there are about 18 text boxes with writing in them you have to do your selves of course.
The writing is facts about that specific athlete today our teacher choose the rugby sevens player Sam Dickson. Sam is a very talented person who loves a lot of sports he likes rugby and surfing if he somehow got kicked out of rugby or left he would become a professional surfer. i hope that you guys who read my blog posts like my work and if you don't know what its called its called a graphic organiser or a athlete profile. i hope that you guys enjoy reading the facts about Sam Dickson bye.

the bulford kiwi.
hello.
today we learnt about the Bulford kiwi and why the kiwi was made when world war 1 had started England needed help so the Australians and new Zealanders were trying to get to world war 1 to help the British empire. the Aussies and new Zealanders were denied and they were not allowed to go to war and help England. then the government sent out a call for volunteers to go and help England and the Aussies and new Zealanders went to help. but when the Aussies and new Zealanders thought that they were going to Europe they were heading to Egypt. and when they got there they were getting frustrated because they wanted to fight but they had to train. they were training for weeks but for some reason they still weren't going to war to help out yet.
they were starting to argue with the people who are training them because they decided that they are finished with training and they are ready to fight. one night they were getting ready to sleep but they heard noises and they knew that war was very close to happening but the Turkish solders were prepared. they hid behind the mountains so they have the height ground and they had a advantage. but they got there way too late then the war had finished the Aussies and new Zealanders had to wait for all of the ships to arrive and pick them up. while they
waited they made a sculpture called the bulford kiwi this kiwi still lives to this day and they made it out of chalk powder.
